Use ¼ tsp. twice a day for 21 to 25 days a month.  After three months, reduce to 1/8 tsp. twice a day. Do not use the first week of each month to give receptors a break. 

Note: Occasionally, upon beginning use of natural progesterone, a post-menopausal woman could experience some break-through bleeding. This is the body’s way of getting rid of excess estrogen. If this continues longer than several months, you should consult a physician.

Use ¼ tsp two times a day after ovulation (usually 12 or 14 days from the first day of menstrual flow) through day 26 of your cycle.  You do not use natural progesterone while menstruating.  However, if you experience menstrual cramps, try rubbing a small amount of cream on the lower abdomen. For migraines, rub cream on the back of your neck.

Use 1/16 tsp. of cream two times a day after ovulation (usually days 12 or 14) through day 26, for 3 to 6 months.  If symptoms return, resume using cream to maintain good hormonal balance.

Use ¼ to ½ tsp. of cream twice per day beginning on the 8th day of your cycle until the 26th day. After 6 months, use ¼ tsp. two times a day after ovulation (usually day 12 or 14) through day 26.

Use ¼ tsp. twice a day, days 8 thru 26 for two months.  On the third month, use ¼ tsp. twice a day, the day following ovulation through day 26. If there is a possibility of pregnancy, DO NOT stop using the cream until you take a pregnancy blood test on day 26.  If negative, then resume scheduled use. If tested positive, use as directed for pregnancy.

Use ¼ tsp. three times a day from conception. In the third trimester, gradually decrease and discontinue 2 weeks before scheduled delivery time. Apply primarily to the abdomen, breasts, lower back, and upper thighs (where it will help prevent stretch marks). 

NOTE: Do not use it for at least one month after delivery if you are breast-feeding.

If you are breast-feeding and experience symptoms of PMS, Post-Partum Depression, or Estrogen Dominance, you may use natural progesterone cream no sooner than 30 days after delivery.  Use 1/8 tsp twice daily for three weeks per month until regular cycle occurs, then resume usage as a woman menstruating.
